A Good Way To Earn Extra Income And Your Freedom – Article Writing!
I am a case in point that a good way to earn extra income is by article writing. Initially when I started doing this I wanted to make some extra money for luxuries, and I wanted to know how to work online so that I would have something to fall back on if the, you know what hit the fan, in my job.
I was employed full time and very interested in being able to make money online. I started article writing part-time and “bam” like a bolt out of the blue I lost my job. My first reaction was, I needed another job. But I gave it some though, shaved of my hair so that I would be too embarrassed to go job hunting and started writing full-time. It has been far from easy, increasing my earning potential to more than just a living. I lost my relationship, which was no big hardship, but did knock me off kilter, but what I did get was freedom. The freedom to write my own salary check and learn to be without a partner who though I was a loser because I refused to go back and work for a boss.
$500 a month can make a very big difference in anyone’s life, particularly if you are still working at a full-time job. This extra money can be put away to create other streams of income, saved for a rainy day, used to pay off debt or make all the difference if you are in fear of losing your home.
Whether this story inspires you or scares you depends very much on your own personal level of risk. I had had enough of the cell phone hanging around my neck 24/7 (even while I was in the bath, on the toilet or on vacation). And although I had a fantastic job, with a company car, mobile, expense account, health insurance, fat salary package and other perks, I had no freedom.
To my way of thinking, my freedom is the biggest perk of being an article writer. I work as much as I want when I want, but I also realize that the amount of money I earn is directly proportionate to the amount of effort I put in.
But it is only now, after 18 months that the fruits of my labor are beginning to pay off and I am starting to, use this article writing to create other extra streams of income.
This is definitely not the best way to earn extra income according to others, there are a lot of people out there who have made good better than I. But it is a way that I know works, because it has worked for me, and I won’t be the only self employed article writer to tell you this.
